Tournament Level Questions

How are Tournament Select teams formed?

Tournament Select teams are drafted every August following tryouts. Players must be members in good standing with the Red Fox Baseball Club to be eligible.

What is the commitment for Tournament Select players?

Tournament Select players are encouraged to attend Club level practices and additional Tournament Select practices when preparing for tournaments.

How many tournaments do Tournament Select teams participate in?

Each team will participate in at least two non-AAU tournaments, one in the Fall and one in the Summer.

Can players be a member of a different AAU program and still participate in Tournament Select?

Yes, the tournaments are non-AAU, allowing players to be part of other AAU programs while participating in our Tournament Select teams. AAU players are not eligible to play on multiple AAU teams.

What is the cost for Tournament Select players?

The cost is $350 per year, which includes a uniform and Red Fox club membership. This fee can be paid in full or through the club’s fundraising program.

AAU Level Questions

What is the focus of the AAU Level?

The AAU Level is for our elite teams, competing in Fall and Spring AAU leagues and occasionally in AAU weekend tournaments.

What is the team size for AAU teams?

AAU teams consist of no more than 12 players.

Can AAU players participate in other levels?

Yes, AAU players are automatically members of the Red Fox Club and may also play on the Tournament Select teams.
